As you celebrate this special holiday, the United States looks forward to advancing our comprehensive partnership and working closely with Laos in support of its ASEAN chair year. There is a great deal that unites us, including our shared desire to advance development objectives, economic growth, public health, and people-to-people ties. Our commitment to growing a strong, peaceful, and secure future for our two countries, as well as for the larger Indo-Pacific region, remains as steadfast as ever.
