Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability, Mallory Stewart, will travel to New York, New York, April 22-23.
She will participate in the Western Hemisphere Nuclear Risk Reduction Workshop, co-hosted by the United States and Mexico. The workshop will focus on regional perspectives on nuclear risk reduction and its role in nuclear arms control.
Assistant Secretary Stewart will also participate in the North American Trilateral Risk Reduction and Disarmament Dialogue, alongside counterparts from the governments of Canada and Mexico. The discussion will focus on nuclear arms control, responsible military use of artificial intelligence and autonomy, space security, and other security-related issues.
