Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today with Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato’ Seri Mohamad Hasan in Jordan. Secretary Blinken thanked Foreign Minister Mohamad for Malaysia’s support for the proposal to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and secure the release of all hostages. The Secretary and Foreign Minister further discussed how the United States and Malaysia could work together to garner regional support for the proposal, emphasizing how it would benefit both Israelis and Palestinians.
