Gov. Jay Inslee, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, and Commerce Director Mike Fong will join Wing Luke Museum’s Executive Director Joël Barraquiel Tan to unveil new healing murals in Canton Alley during a community healing event. The Wing Luke Museum received $100,000 in combined funding from the state and city to remedy structural damages to the Museum after a Sept. 14 hate crime. The murals, created by artists Sami Hilario and Shea Dailey, are part of a remediation process to restore the historic building and community wellness.
