Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Michele Sison will travel to Bern, Geneva, Rome, and Vatican City April 22 – 30. The Assistant Secretary will meet with her Swiss counterparts in Bern on UN and multilateral cooperation. In Geneva, she will participate in the Consultative Level Meeting of the Geneva Group on UN governance and management and meet with leadership of several UN agencies. During her visit to Rome, the Assistant Secretary will meet with World Food Program, International Fund for Agricultural Development, and Food and Agricultural Organization leadership as well as Ministry of Foreign Affairs counterparts. She will also call on the Holy See’s Secretary for Relations with States to discuss a number of humanitarian issues.
