Cyberspace and digital technologies offer tremendous opportunities for economic growth and development for all UN member states. At the same time, recent disruptive cyber attacks, carried out by criminals and nation states, demonstrate the risk that cyber vulnerabilities can pose to global peace and security. Practical actions are needed now to make all countries more secure and provide support to each other in responding to and recovering from significant cyber incidents. Since we are all in it together, this event will focus on actions UN member states can take to better secure cyberspace for all.
