The United States will host the 10th session of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) in Atlanta from December 11-15, 2023. During the COSP, global leaders will come together to promote implementation of the Convention and continue to chart the way forward for the international community in the prevention of and fight against corruption. The COSP will convene the 190 states parties to the UNCAC, as well as a variety of stakeholders from around the world including representatives from international organizations, civil society, young people, and the private sector. The Department of State’s Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption Richard Nephew has been nominated to serve as the President of the tenth session of the Conference. Of note, the United States is organizing signature pre-events on December 9 and 10, including an Academic Symposium, a Young Changemakers Event, and a Civil Society Forum.

The United States looks forward to hosting this important meeting during this two-year anniversary of the United States’ Strategy on Countering Corruption and the 20th anniversary of the UNCAC.
